Tessori directed the administration to take all possible steps to prevent the fire from spreading. The Ministry of Interior stated that evidence suggests that the planning, training, and indoctrination of the attack were carried out by ISIS in Afghanistan, under the patronage of the Afghan Taliban. The Counter Terrorism Department’s court has sentenced Eman Mazari and her husband, Hadi Ali Chach, to 17-year prison sentences, and they are currently serving their sentence at Adiala Jail.
