Balochistan province in Pakistan has been witnessing efforts from security forces and the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mr. Abdul Malik’s brother, Mr. Afzal Bugti, to establish peace in the region. During Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, notorious terrorists in the area have laid down their arms. Mirak Khan Chakarani, along with 25 other accomplices, has surrendered to the authorities, laying down their arms. This group, notorious for robberies and extortion, has also handed over a large quantity of arms and ammunition.
Mirak Khan Chakarani has also announced his participation in the Chakarani Peace Force, a counter-militancy initiative. The Minister of Defence, Khawaja Asif, confirmed that the Islamabad blast suspect was a Pakistani national. Rescue teams have stated that four vehicles from the Fire Brigade are engaged in putting out the fire, as the factory produces plastic items.
