The deadline for submitting technical proposals for the Multan franchise in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been extended. According to sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will soon announce the auction date for the Multan team. Sources claim that six interested parties have submitted technical proposals for the Multan franchise auction. The PCB had initially set the deadline for submitting technical proposals on January 30 but later extended it to February 2.
The decision to extend the deadline for the Multan franchise auction is seen as a result of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s announcement that they will handle the affairs of the Multan Sultan’s themselves for PSL 11. However, due to the high expectations and good prices for the auction of two new teams, the decision to auction the Multan franchise was also taken.
