The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has accepted the invitation from the United States to join the Gaza Peace Board. According to a statement from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi, the US extended an invitation to the UAE President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to join the Gaza Peace Board. As per the statement, the UAE Foreign Minister, Sheikh Abdullah, stated that this decision aligns with the UAE’s policy, and the country has complete confidence in US President Donald Trump’s leadership and commitment to global peace.
The UAE’s decision reflects the importance of implementing the 20-point peace plan proposed by US President Trump for Gaza, which is crucial for the Palestinian people to achieve their legitimate rights, Sheikh Abdullah emphasized. The UAE is ready to actively participate in the mission of the Gaza Peace Board, he added.
