The price of gold in Pakistan has once again registered a significant decline, offering considerable relief to consumers and those involved in the jewelry trade. The local market witnessed a substantial drop of PKR 3,300 per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, following this PKR 3,300 reduction, the new price for one tola of gold in the country is now PKR 439,762. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by PKR 2,829, settling at PKR 377,025.
This decrease in local gold prices reflects the volatility in the global market. Internationally, the price of gold per ounce fell by $33, bringing the global market rate to $4,174 per ounce. This downward trend in the market provides a window of opportunity for consumers looking to invest in or purchase gold.
