PARIS – French authorities have announced a significant development in the investigation into the sensational theft at the Louvre Museum. Eleven days after the heist, five more individuals have been taken into custody.
However, despite this breakthrough, the central mystery remains unsolved. Officials have confirmed that the priceless stolen jewels have still not been located or recovered.
It is believed that one of the five newly arrested individuals may be one of the four original suspects who disguised themselves as laborers to gain access to the museum. The gang successfully escaped with artifacts from the Napoleon Bonaparte era, valued at more than $100 million, in a case that has captivated global attention.
