The social media platform TikTok removed 25,448,992 videos in Pakistan during the second quarter (April-June) of 2025, citing violations of its community guidelines.
According to the company’s latest Community Guidelines Enforcement Report, Pakistan saw an extremely high proactive removal rate of 99.7%.
The data also showed that 96.2% of these violating videos were removed within 24 hours of being uploaded, highlighting the platform’s automated and active moderation efforts.
Globally, during the same quarter, TikTok removed 189 million videos, which accounts for about 0.7% of all content uploaded. Furthermore, the platform continued its cleanup of inauthentic behavior, removing over 77.6 million fake accounts and an additional 25.9 million accounts suspected of belonging to users under the age of 13.
