Andy Lalani’s Father, Abdul Rahim Lalani, Passes Away — Funeral on Wednesday; Community Leaders Extend Condolences

Dallas – Abdul Rahim Lalani, father of Andy Lalani (also known as Amin Bhai), a prominent figure in Dallas’ entertainment industry, passed away at the age of 91 after a prolonged illness. He was originally from Tando Mohammad Khan.

“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.”

This sad news has deeply grieved the Dallas community. The late Abdul Rahim Lalani was not only a senior member of MidCities Jamatkhana, but was also known for his noble character, humility, and devout spiritual life, earning him widespread affection and respect.
The funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 6th at 3:00 PM at Hughes Family Tribute Center, while Samar and Ziarat ceremonies will take place during the evening congregational gatherings at MidCities Jamatkhana.
During this time of mourning, several prominent figures from Dallas’ social, business, and media circles have extended their heartfelt condolences to Andy Lalani and his family.
Those expressing their sympathies include Abid Malik, former President and Board of Trustees member of the Pakistan Society; Nasir Siddiqui, CEO of Hiba Entertainment; Kamal Siddiqui, respected business figure; Raja Zahid Akhtar Khanzada, CEO of Jago Times Group of Publications; and Minhaj Basheer, Director of News, along with his team.
They prayed for the departed soul’s elevation in Jannah and offered sincere condolences to the bereaved family.
