US President Donald Trump has asserted that his time in the White House prevented six significant wars worldwide, including potential conflicts between India and Pakistan, and other long-standing regional disputes.
“If I weren’t around, you’d have, right now, six major wars going on. India would be fighting with Pakistan,” Trump stated, emphasizing that his leadership helped de-escalate tensions in various global hotspots.
He specifically cited the dispute between Thailand and Cambodia, claiming his intervention, which included a threat to end trade talks, led to a ceasefire. Trump also highlighted his role in easing tensions between Serbia and Kosovo, as well as supporting a peace agreement between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
While Trump listed four regions, he did not specify the remaining two conflicts he believes he prevented.
