In a first for the league, the opening game and ceremony of the HBL PSL X are scheduled to take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The star-studded ceremony will commence at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 11.
This marks the first time that the venue will host the league’s inaugural match. In the opening game, the defending champions, Islamabad United, will clash with two-time trophy winners, Lahore Qalandars, with the first ball scheduled to be bowled at 8:30 PM.
The six-team tournament is set to be played across four venues: the National Bank Stadium, Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, the Multan Cricket Stadium, and the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Lahore’s prestigious and historic Gaddafi Stadium will host the final of the tenth edition of the PSL on May 18.

The opening ceremony at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will feature a diverse range of exciting performances, including renowned Sufi music artist Abida Parveen, a cultural act by Ali Zafar, and a contemporary performance by Young Stunners.
Adding to the entertainment, the singers of the HBL PSL X anthem—Abrar ul Haq, Ali Zafar, Natasha Baig, and Talha Anjum—will also perform live. Fans attending the event will be treated to a spectacular fireworks display.
The six-team tournament will consist of 34 matches, spanning from April 11 to May 18. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host the highest number of matches, with 13 scheduled, including two Eliminators and the grand final.
The Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including the first Qualifier on May 13. Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five matches.
The event’s schedule also includes three double-headers, with two taking place on Saturdays and one on Labour Day (May 1).
