Demi Moore took the celebration to the next level just a few days after winning her first-ever award in her 45-year-long acting career!
The G.I. Jane actress took to Instagram to share a carousel of snaps from the Golden Globes afterparty.
She captioned the post, “Golden Globes after party fun.”
The carousel began with a video showing Moore excitedly raising her award high before posing for the camera. Following that, there were photos from the fun-filled party where the Striptease star posed with her friends, who had gathered to celebrate her exciting achievement.
Moore won the Best Actress in a Film award for her role as Elisabeth Sparkle in “The Substance.”
In another post, the actress shared a video of herself dancing at the party, fully enjoying the monumental success.
She captioned it, “Elisabeth Sparkle if she respected the balance,” referring to her character from the film.
After winning the award, Demi Moore delivered an emotional acceptance speech: “I’ve been doing this a long time – over 45 years – and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor. And I’m just so humbled and so grateful. Thirty years ago, I had a producer tell me I was a ‘popcorn actress.'”
“And so today, I celebrate this as a marker of my wholeness and of the love that is driving me, and for the gift of doing something I love, and being reminded that I do belong,” she added.
Demi competed for the award against Cynthia Erivo from Wicked, Karla Sofía Gascón from Emilia Pérez, and Mikey Madison from Anora.
