Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, addressed rumors about her husband’s alleged affairs and recalled playful banter from his co-stars, Raveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty.
In a candid interview, Sunita shared a funny incident where Raveena would jokingly say, “Chi Chi, if I had met you earlier, I would have married you.” Sunita humorously responded, “Take him, and you’ll find out!” Raveena and Govinda have starred in many hit films, including Dulhe Raja and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. She also mentioned that Raveena visited Govinda in the hospital after he accidentally shot himself in the foot.
Another co-star, Shilpa Shetty, also came to visit Govinda. Sunita recalled Shilpa’s joke from The Great Indian Kapil Show, where she teased, “If Sunita wasn’t home, who shot him in the foot?” Sunita quipped, “If I had shot him, I’d have aimed for the chest, not the leg. If you’re going to do something, do it completely!”
Reflecting on Govinda’s career, Sunita stated she wasn’t concerned about his affairs during his prime due to his busy schedule but joked about being more vigilant now that he’s 60.
