Islamabad: Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders have raised concerns over the increasing involvement and alleged harsh behavior of Bushra Bibi, wife of Imran Khan, and his sister Aleema Khan in party affairs. This has reportedly caused growing dissatisfaction within the party ranks.
A confrontation involving Aleema Khan with Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and Salman Akram Raja at the Adiala Jail highlighted the tensions. Several leaders have refrained from public complaints but admit that internal discord is intensifying.
Questions have been raised about Bushra Bibi’s alleged interference and Aleema Khan’s role in planning the November protest. Leaders argue that non-political individuals influencing crucial decisions undermine party leadership.
Party spokesperson Sheikh Waqas dismissed these claims, asserting that the women merely relay messages and have no political involvement.
