Rawalpindi: The court issued arrest warrants for Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, over her repeated absence in the Toshakhana case. The hearing, held at Adiala Jail, was presided over by Judge Shahrukh Arjumand.
A notice was served to Bushra’s guarantor, questioning the justification for not forfeiting their surety bond. The prosecutor accused Bushra of deliberately avoiding court, leading to the issuance of non-bailable warrants.
According to the NAB reference, Bushra and Khan are accused of unlawfully retaining official gifts. The next hearing is scheduled for December 9.
