Karachi: The Italian Consul General, Danilo Giordani, expressed optimism about the promotion of Italian technology in Pakistan during the introduction ceremony of diesel engines featuring Italian technology. He emphasized that Italian technology would play a significant role in ensuring environmental protection in Pakistan, as Italy is among the global market leaders in manufacturing engines that minimize carbon emissions, contributing to a safer environment.
The introductory event for the FTP engines took place at a local hotel and was attended by key figures, including Mehmood Ahsan Ali, CEO of Power Zone, Ricardo Puani, Gianna Maria, and Mansoor Rizvi, President of the Pakistan Society of Agricultural Engineers.
On this occasion, the Italian Consul General highlighted Italy’s position as a global leader in machinery and mechatronics. He noted that it ranks among the top European countries in terms of the number of enterprises, particularly in the FTP industrial sector, which is now part of the Iveco Group.
He commended the Power Group for introducing these engines and expressed hope that this development would further enhance the trade relations between Pakistan and Italy.
