An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, where the preparations for the Champions Trophy tournament in 2025 were thoroughly reviewed.
During the meeting, Naqvi also assessed the ongoing Champions Cup in Faisalabad and the stadium upgrade project. He instructed the formation of essential committees to ensure the successful execution of the Champions Trophy tournament.
Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the importance of defining the responsibilities of each committee and urged them to begin their work promptly. “Big teams from around the world will be participating in the Champions Trophy; we need to ensure proper arrangements,” he stated.
Additionally, Naqvi instructed the acceleration of work on the stadium upgrade project and discussed the possibility of hosting PSL matches in Faisalabad.
The meeting was attended by Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer, Chief Financial Officer Javed Murtaza, all PCB directors, and relevant officials.
