Mumbai: Pakistani superstar Fawad Khan, known for showcasing his acting skills in both Pakistan and neighboring India, is reportedly set to star in a Bollywood film alongside actress Ridhima Dogra.
According to Indian media reports, Fawad Khan and Ridhima Dogra will be seen as a pair in a romantic comedy-drama film. The report states that the casting for supporting actors is still underway, and the film is currently in its early stages.
It is said that the paperwork for Fawad and Ridhima’s new film has been completed, but the title and director of the film remain undisclosed.
Reports indicate that both Ridhima and Fawad are busy with other projects, which is why filming is expected to begin by the end of this year, with a release planned for late next year or early 2026.
Furthermore, the film is expected to be shot in various locations in the USA and the UK.
On the other hand, Fawad Khan and Ridhima Dogra have yet to confirm or deny these reports from the Indian media.
Previously, Indian media had also reported that Fawad Khan would soon appear in a new film alongside Bollywood actress Vani Kapoor. In this film, directed by Aarti Bagdi, Fawad is said to play the role of a chef based in the UK, with shooting planned in London and Dubai.
It’s worth noting that Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with the film “Khoobsurat,” where he starred opposite Sonam Kapoor. He later appeared in Bollywood films like “Kapoor & Sons” and “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,” significantly increasing his fan following in India.
