HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Renowned Houston writer Ken Hoffman passed away on Sunday.
Hoffman, a beloved columnist and author, contributed to the Houston Post and Houston Chronicle before bringing his talents to the website CultureMap.
With a distinctive voice and a blend of insight and humor, Hoffman wrote extensively about Houston’s media, cuisine, and his passion for music and sports, captivating generations of readers across various publications.
CultureMap, where Hoffman posted his final column just last week, reported that he died suddenly at his lake house on Lake Conroe on Sunday.
