HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Wednesday morning should start off with temperatures in the low 70s but should rise into the upper 80s/low 90s by the afternoon.
We’re expecting a disturbance to move in bringing us a chance for a few showers and storms. Storms should remain isolated to widely scattered so some of us will miss out on this rain. If a strong storm pops up, gusty winds would be the main threat.
What’s the outlook for the shortened work and school week?
Rain chances decrease down to 20% on Thursday and Friday as an upper low set up just to the east of us. That means the greater lift and moisture will also remain east keeping our rain chances slim.
What’s happening in the tropics?
Hurricane Danielle and Hurricane Earl are spinning in the Atlantic. Earl could visit Bermuda later this week. For the very latest check out our daily tropical update.
