HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — While rain today won’t be as widespread as yesterday, periods of heavy rain and storms will still be possible, especially south of I-10 where the moisture level is the highest.
We should start off Thursday morning with isolated to scattered storms, and the combination of a weak front and daytime heating will keep showers around through the afternoon. Isolated street flooding cannot be ruled out with the higher rainfall totals. High temperatures should top out in the upper 80s and low 90s.
What are we expecting the rest of the week?
We are expecting more of a typical summertime pattern as we head into this weekend with showers near the coast in the morning and scattered storms farther inland in the afternoon.
