HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Parts of the viewing area are getting off to a rainy start this morning, with scattered downpours showers in northern Harris and Liberty counties, and a heavier line of storms in Chambers county. This activity will gradually fade through the morning, and we should see a lull in the action for the later parts of the morning.
By the afternoon rain chances pick up again as scattered thunderstorms develop along a stalled boundary in draped across the Houston area.
What are we expecting the rest of the week?
Another chance for numerous showers and storms Wednesday, but rain chances decrease a bit at the end of the week. Still could see daily scattered showers and storms through the weekend but it should be more of a normal summer pattern with scattered storms popping in the afternoon.
