HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — It was definitely a hot and steamy 4th of July. This same weather pattern will continue into Tuesday.
We should start off in the mid to upper 70s before climbing into the upper 90s in the afternoon. The added humidity will push heat index values over 103. You’ll want to take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside.
What can we expect for the upcoming week?
Heat! A ridge of high pressure will build back in over us this week leaving us hot and mostly dry. We could see some moisture sneak in during the second half of the week bringing a very slight chance of rain Wednesday through Friday.
