Pakistan cricket stars, including Quetta Gladiators’ players, on Sunday visited young cancer patients at a local hospital in Karachi. The players, including Abrar Ahmed, Usman Tahir, Riley Rossouw, Ben McDermott, and Bismillah Khan, spent time with the children, sharing memorable moments and delighting them with their presence. The visit was a part of the official rest day during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11.
On the same day, the team’s owner, Hassan Omar, manager Azam Khan, and other players were also present to meet the young patients. The PSL 11 players were participating in the 18th match, where Quetta Gladiators had set up a target of 183 runs for Rawalpindi.
The visit was a heartwarming moment for the young patients, who were delighted to meet their cricket heroes. Lahore Qalandars’ owner, Thamin Rana, captain Shaheen Afridi, and all-rounder Sikandar Raza also joined the visit, taking pictures with the children and distributing caps and gift packets.
In other news, the Pakistan Junior Hockey Team’s coach, Syed Samir Hussain, has been included in the coaching panel. Samir Hussain’s coaching has led to remarkable victories for the SarSayed University of Engineering and Technology’s team in the HHC and other tournaments.
