Hussain uploaded a video to his Instagram account, where he talked about his treatment and recovery. In the caption of the video, Hussain wrote that it has been a big week for him as a successful surgery was conducted to remove the facet joint from his spine. He thanked his surgeon Dr. Asif Basher and the Pakistan Cricket Team for their support during his treatment.
According to sources, Hussain will be returning to New Zealand after his recovery. Hussain also expressed his gratitude to his personal security, who took care of him like a friend and nurse for a few days. Now that he has returned home, Hussain plans to spend time with his family in New Zealand.
It’s worth noting that Hussain’s surgery took place in a local hospital in Lahore, Pakistan. The 11th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) saw Lahore Qalandars defeat Multan Sultans by 20 runs. The PSL teams have started heading to Karachi for the matches scheduled to begin on April 8.
