Pakistan’s military has launched a series of effective ground and air operations against Afghan Taliban and Khawarij militants under Operation Ghazab-e-Haq. According to security sources, the Pakistani military has targeted the Ammunition Depot of Shahin Base in Paktika, and military installations and hideouts of Afghan Taliban and Khawarij along the border are being targeted.
Security sources claim that the Pakistani military has also targeted the Afghan Taliban’s post in Shwal and South Waziristan, and have destroyed it with explosive materials. The operations are currently underway in the Khyber sector of the Pakistani-Afghan border under Operation Ghazab-e-Haq. As a result of the military operation, Afghan Taliban and Khawarij have fled the area.
The operation is ongoing and will continue until its objectives are achieved. Meanwhile, a Pakistani worker Saad Mahboob’s father has appealed to the government for help as Saad is stranded on a ship in the Gulf. Saad is from the Akhtar Colony in Karachi.
The Ministry of Finance has stated that the supply chain of petroleum products is functioning as per normal. However, 60% of government vehicles will be shut down.
