The onset of the week saw a cooler climate due to a cold front. Tonight is expected to be chilly to cold, with lows ranging from the low to middle 30s across much of North Texas. Tuesday is anticipated to be milder, featuring a mix of clouds and sunshine and highs in the low 60s.
Breezy south and southeasterly winds are set to elevate temperatures into the mid-60s, accompanied by increased moisture levels starting on Wednesday.
A dynamic jet stream pattern will bring several storm systems across Texas from Thursday through Christmas. This period may witness episodes of rain and a few thunderstorms, with no severe weather anticipated at present. Rainfall amounts from these systems are projected to be between one to two inches from Thursday through Sunday.
Temperatures are forecasted to remain above normal through Christmas, with highs mostly in the 60s and lows in the 40s and 50s after tonight.
