HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — We’ve got great weather in the forecast for Saturday for anything you have planned outside, from holiday decorating to shopping. After a cold start in the 40s, highs peak in the 60s with dry weather through about 4 p.m.
When will the rain hit this weekend?
You’ll notice clouds returning ahead of a rain chance Saturday night. As a cold front pushes into Texas, our rain chances go up to 70% Saturday night with a 40% chance of showers lingering past sunrise Sunday. The cold front should arrive at about noon, ending the rain and bringing in a chilly breeze.
How cold will it get behind this front?
On Monday and Tuesday, we expect highs only in the 50s, and Tuesday morning’s lows will dip into the upper 30s! There’s even an outside chance it’ll be cold enough to put frost on the ground.
