The messaging app has just rolled out a significant update that makes creating, managing, and sharing sticker packs simpler and more enjoyable, all without needing to leave the app.
Previously, while users had the ability to create their own custom stickers, dealing with them and sending them, especially if you had a large collection, was quite a hassle. Now, with the new sticker pack feature, WhatsApp allows users to group their stickers into separate folders or packs, making them much easier to find and keep organised.
A WhatsApp spokesperson commented, “Whether it’s a collection of stickers featuring your dog, or hilarious selfies of your closest buddies, you can now make your chats more fun and reflect your personality even better.”
With just a single tap, you can now share entire sticker packs with friends and family instead of having to send each sticker individually.
This feature builds upon the sticker pack sharing capability that WhatsApp hinted at earlier this year. Now, it’s officially being released to all users in the latest version of the app.
Beyond the sticker improvements, this update also includes:
- A new online status indicator within group chats
- A document scanning tool
- The option to set WhatsApp as the default app for messaging and calls on iPhone
Be sure to update to the newest version of the app to check out all these cool new features.
