WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature that allows users to view “view once” media (photos or videos) on linked devices such as desktops.
According to WABetaInfo, this new feature will enable users to view “view once” media on linked devices like desktops.
Previously, WhatsApp did not allow these media files to be viewed on linked devices.
These restrictions may have been in place to prevent users from taking screenshots of the media on their secondary devices.
With the latest update, users now have full access to view such media without needing to download or verify additional access.
Now, users can easily view these media files on any device they are connected to without having to switch back to their primary devices.
This feature is under development and will be available to all Android users in future updates.
In recent days, WhatsApp has introduced several new and unique features that are giving users a fresh experience.
WhatsApp is also rolling out a feature that allows users to search for updates within channels.
Additionally, WhatsApp has added another feature allowing users to set up events in private chats, similar to how they can create them in group chats.
