In a significant display of national unity amid rising tensions with Afghanistan, Pakistan’s major opposition party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has announced its support for the state of Pakistan.
Speaking on the Geo News program “Capital Talk” on Wednesday, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar clarified his party’s position. He stated that when it concerns national security and the country’s borders, political differences will be set aside, and the PTI will firmly “stand with the state of Pakistan.”
In addition to this key foreign policy statement, Barrister Gohar also touched upon the deeply concerning situation in the Middle East.
When asked about the possibility of sending Pakistani troops to Gaza, he described it as a “serious matter.” The PTI Chairman emphasized that such a critical decision requires thorough national deliberation and must be debated comprehensively in Parliament before any action is considered.
