With a clear goal of forging new paths for Pakistani trade, the Pak-America Business Conference & Expo 2025 has officially opened in the state of Virginia. Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, inaugurated the event with a strong message for the business community.
During his main speech, the ambassador emphasized that lasting Pak-US relations can only be guaranteed by strong economic and trade ties.
He urged Pakistani businesses to develop smart strategies based on the specific needs of the American market, which he called the “world’s top consumer market.”
Ambassador Sheikh made his point very clear: “Diplomacy can create opportunities. It is the job of the business community to take full advantage of them. We have done our job; now we expect you to do yours.”
This important gathering was a joint effort by Brain Designer Pakistan, the Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries, and the US-Pakistan International Chamber of Commerce (USPICC). It brought together business leaders, traders, and investors to explore new opportunities for trade and investment.
After the opening, the ambassador visited the various stalls at the expo and spoke directly with members of the business community. He thanked the organizers for their efforts, calling the event a “good omen,” especially for smaller traders and entrepreneurs looking to expand their footprint in the US market.
