HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Moisture levels are decreasing this weekend. That means we’ll have fewer cooling rain showers and more sunshine, giving us hotter temps.
Could we see any rain Sunday?
It’s possible that we could see a few isolated showers/storms in the afternoon but most of us will stay dry. Our best chance of rain tops out at 20%.
How hot are these temps getting?
We’ll see temps a bit under 100 degrees this weekend, with temps at or above 100 degrees through most of next week.
Is there anything worth watching in the tropics?
A Saharan dust cloud is currently overhead and stretches across much of the Atlantic. We should see the dust move out of SE Texas on Tuesday. For the very latest check out our daily tropical update.
