HYDERABAD: A dangerous and loud explosion rocked a CNG station near the Hyderabad Bypass when a van suddenly burst into flames during its refueling process, resulting in the complete destruction of the vehicle and injuries to at least five individuals. The incident raises serious questions regarding safety protocols at public fuel stations.
According to rescue sources, the violent blast occurred while the van was being filled with compressed natural gas. The explosion led to an immediate fire that rapidly engulfed the vehicle, leaving it completely gutted.
Rescue workers and firefighters present at the station were quick to respond, successfully controlling the blaze and preventing it from spreading further. The five individuals who sustained injuries in the explosion were immediately provided with medical assistance.
