The Hindu community in Pakistan and across the globe is set to celebrate the Holi festival on March 13th. The primary event in Pakistan, arranged by the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), will be held at the Krishna Mandir located on Ravi Road, Lahore. The temple has been adorned with a variety of colorful lights, and enhanced security measures have been implemented with the assistance of the local district administration and police forces. During the celebration, the Hindu community will participate in a cake-cutting ceremony and revel in the festive spirit of Holi at the Krishna Mandir. The festival is characterized by men, women, and children applying colors to each other, representing happiness and vitality in life. Furthermore, prayers and traditional ceremonies will be conducted at temples and within homes.
