Nawabzada Mazhar Ali Khan, a prominent and seasoned politician from Gujrat and a former Member of the National Assembly (MNA), has passed away in Lahore at the age of 94. The death of this veteran leader, who had a long political career, leaves a void in the country’s political landscape.
According to his family, the late Nawabzada Mazhar Ali Khan was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Lahore where he succumbed to his prolonged illness.
Nawabzada Mazhar Ali Khan leaves behind a notable political legacy. He was a prominent figure in Gujrat who served as a Member of the Punjab Assembly once, and was subsequently elected as an MNA in 2013 on a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) ticket.
His funeral prayer (Namaz-e-Janaza) is scheduled to be held tomorrow (date to be inserted) at 3 PM in his ancestral village, Ajnala.
