US Vice President J.D. Vance has arrived in Israel to address the uncertain situation in Gaza, particularly the mutual accusations of ceasefire violations between Israel and Hamas. His wife has also accompanied him on the visit.
According to Arab media, Vance will hold discussions with both sides regarding these alleged breaches of the truce.
The visit comes at a delicate moment, as the Emir of Qatar, who has been serving as a mediator, accused Israel of violating the ceasefire by attacking Hamas positions.
The US Vice President is also scheduled to discuss critical humanitarian issues, including the opening of borders, ensuring access for aid, and the exchange of hostage bodies.
