The US Embassy has implemented a revised online visa appointment system, set to go live on February 8, 2025, and has released essential guidelines for applicants to facilitate a seamless transition.
As per the US Consulate General in Karachi, prospective visa applicants are required to establish a profile within the new system before arranging their appointment. Individuals who have already settled their visa fee or scheduled an appointment through the prior system are advised to register using the same email address to ensure a smooth transfer of their information.
Applicants who remitted their visa fee prior to February 3, 2025, are instructed by the embassy to input their payment date and receipt number during the creation of their new profile.
The embassy has provided assurances that applicants can seek assistance via email or telephone should they have any inquiries concerning the updated procedures.
