The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has once again asserted that the failure to resolve the Kashmir issue remains the core reason for the continuous suffering and distress faced by the Kashmiri population. The APHC has urgently appealed to the international community regarding the escalating human rights violations.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, APHC Spokesperson Abdul Rashid Minhas strongly condemned the process of illegally detaining Kashmiris. He stated that the Indian Army and Reserve Police continue their series of raids across various parts of the region, creating an environment of fear and instability for the residents.
The Hurriyat Conference announced that the organization will observe a “Black Day” on the anniversaries of Maqbool Butt and Afzal Guru to honor their struggle and sacrifices.
Abdul Rashid Minhas called for immediate global intervention, demanding that the United Nations and international human rights organizations take urgent notice of the illegal detentions of Kashmiris and implement effective measures to end the prevailing human crisis. The APHC maintains that lasting peace in the region is unattainable until an acceptable and permanent political solution to the fundamental Kashmir issue is found.
