Samsung Galaxy phones boast impressive cameras and editing tools, but their preset filters might not always match your vision. Luckily, a hidden feature allows you to craft unique filters using any image from your gallery.
Creating Your Own Filter:
- Open the Camera app and switch to Photo mode.
- Tap the three overlapping circles in the top-right corner to open the filter menu.
- Select the “+” icon to create a new filter.
- Choose any image from your gallery as a reference.
- A preview of your new filter will appear on the camera view.
- Adjust the reference area by dragging the image corners if needed.
- Tap the filter name to rename it, and confirm.
- Tap “Done” to save your custom filter.
Adjusting Existing Filters:
While you can’t manually tweak filter settings during creation, you can adjust existing ones:
- Select a filter and tap the adjustment bar.
- Drag the slider to modify the filter’s intensity.
- Your settings will be saved for future use.
- Use the reset button to undo changes.
Important Notes:
- Samsung allows up to 99 custom filters.
- Filters may not work with all camera resolution and aspect ratio settings. If the filter option is disabled, try lowering the resolution.
- This feature allows for personalized photo editing without the need for external apps.
