According to police sources, the report does not hold anyone responsible for the incident. However, the report suggests that the university should install safety glasses or grills on the windows of its buildings to prevent such incidents in the future.
The female student, who attempted to take her own life, is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital, and Punjab Women Protection Authority Chairperson Hina Pervez Butt visited her and met with her family members. Upon the student’s recovery from the ordeal, she was removed from the ventilator, and her condition has shown significant improvement.
