ANKARA — Türkiye has expressed deep sorrow over the recent floods in Bangladesh that have resulted in significant loss of life and property damage.
In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry conveyed its profound sadness and offered prayers for the victims. “We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives and the material damage caused by the recent flood disaster in Bangladesh,” the statement read.
Türkiye extended its heartfelt condolences to the people of Bangladesh and offered support during this challenging time. The floods, which have affected approximately 5.17 million people, have claimed at least 23 lives in eastern Bangladesh, with thousands seeking shelter from the devastation.
