U.S. President Donald Trump made sarcastic remarks about Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) workers’ dressing style during their first joint appearance on television.
According to India Today, Trump, sitting next to Musk in his first Fox News interview after taking office, revealed that he attempted to find someone “smarter” than the Tesla owner for DOGE but failed, and in the end, he “settled on this guy.”
The Republican president praised the world’s richest man for his cost-cutting measures but also mocked how DOGE members dress even worse than Musk.
Jokingly, he said, “What Musk does is he takes the executive order and, with his hundred geniuses, he’s got some very brilliant young people working for him that dress much worse than him, actually. They dress in just t-shirts. You would not have that, have a 180 IQ.”
Furthermore, the tech mogul was wearing the same black “Tech Support” t-shirt during the interview that he had worn while attending a World Governments Summit video conference in Dubai and during his Oval Office visit.
During the interview, Musk showed off his shirt and humorously remarked that he was wearing this “Tech Support” t-shirt because he was there to provide technology support to Trump.
