US President Donald Trump said he could easily help secure a ceasefire in Pakistan and Afghanistan. He made the remark while talking about his past efforts to stop wars.
Trump said that the prime minister of Pakistan told him that Trump had helped stop a conflict between Pakistan and India. He added that Shahbaz Sharif had told him he saved many lives by arranging a ceasefire.
The president also said he had stopped eight wars. He claimed that no previous US president had stopped even one. Trump said he is not seeking a Nobel Prize, but is trying to save lives by ending wars.
Trump further stated that India would stop buying oil from Russia. He did not give more details about how or when that would happen.
