US President Donald Trump has commented on the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, describing the treatment of Prince Andrew and the British Royal Family as “very bad” and “sad.”
This statement comes after recent news that King Charles III decided to strip his younger brother, Prince Andrew, of all royal titles and his Windsor residence following new allegations linked to the Epstein case.
Speaking to the media, President Trump expressed sympathy for the situation, emphasizing that what happened to the royal family was unfortunate.
Donald Trump also addressed several other key national and international issues. He confirmed that he would not attend the Supreme Court hearing on his tariff case, stating he does not want to do anything that might “diminish the importance” of the decision.
Defending his use of tariffs, he said, “The world was charging us tariffs for years. We were being exploited by many countries, especially China, but not anymore. The tariffs have given us tremendous national security.”
On foreign policy, President Trump expressed concern over the reported large-scale killing of Christians in Nigeria and suggested that US ground troops or air strikes in Nigeria are possible.
However, he clarified that the US is not currently considering providing Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. Concluding his remarks, the US President expressed happiness over the return of three hostage bodies by Hamas and made the claim, “I stopped 8 wars around the world.”
