Travis Kelce has responded to Lil Wayne’s comment calling the Kansas City Chiefs the “Cheating Azz Chiefs.”
During the latest episode of their New Heights podcast, released on Wednesday, January 22, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce shared their thoughts on the rapper’s reaction to the Chiefs’ recent playoff win.
Jason said, “The whole world was talking about something else during the game, and I’m sure you saw some of this, but they were complaining about the refs again, Trav.”
“Even Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne wrote on social media, ‘I hate the cheating a- Chiefs. So an a– with two z’s,’” Jason added, to which Travis responded by giving a shout-out to the rapper, “Shout out to Tunechie, man.”
This comes after fans and players criticized the officials for making controversial calls during the Chiefs’ AFC division game against the Houston Texans on Saturday, January 18.
On Sunday, January 26, the Chiefs are set to face the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Conference Championship.
