A shocking and gruesome crime has been uncovered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, where a woman allegedly conspired with her lover to brutally murder her husband and kept his body hidden for a year by burying it beneath the floor of their home kitchen.
According to the police, this horrifying truth came to light a year after the murder when the Crime Branch arrested a friend of the accused woman. During interrogation, the friend revealed the location of the body. Subsequent excavation of the kitchen floor unearthed human bones, hair, and tissues.
Background of the Incident:
The deceased, Akbar Ansari, had married the accused, Ruby, in a love marriage in 2015. After their wedding, the couple relocated from Bihar to Ahmedabad, where Akbar worked as a labourer, and they had two children.
Police stated that Ruby had an illicit affair with a man, which Akbar strongly objected to and often responded to with violence against his wife. Following this constant tension, Ruby and her lover made the grim decision to “remove Akbar from their path.” With the assistance of two other accomplices, they stabbed and murdered him.
The Concealment:
After the murder, the accused individuals buried the body in a pit dug beneath the kitchen floor and concealed the crime by covering the spot with cement and tiles. This method suggests a premeditated and calculated plan to permanently erase the evidence.
Police have registered a case of murder and destruction of evidence and have launched an extensive investigation to apprehend Ruby and the two other suspects involved. The case serves as a tragic example of extreme betrayal and violence within a relationship.
