The scheduled hearing of the Toshakhana II case against the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, has been cancelled unexpectedly.
According to sources, the court has officially informed the PTI founder’s legal team about the cancellation. The hearing was earlier planned to be held inside Adiala Jail under special security arrangements.
Officials stated that a new hearing date will be announced tomorrow at the Judicial Complex in Islamabad, where the proceedings are expected to resume.
The Toshakhana II case is among several ongoing cases against the PTI founder, involving allegations of misusing state gifts and concealing details of assets.
Political observers see the sudden cancellation as a significant procedural development, possibly linked to legal or security considerations surrounding the high-profile case.
