HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A tragic incident occurred over the weekend in northwest Harris County, where a toddler drowned in a neighbor’s pool.
According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the incident happened on Saturday during a family gathering at a home on Brackenfern near Misty Cove. The nearly 2-year-old child managed to find an opening in the neighbor’s fence and accessed their pool.
The toddler was pulled from the pool and taken to the hospital in critical condition but, unfortunately, later passed away.
