In Houston, Texas (KTRK), the Houston Roughnecks have secured their new venue for the upcoming United Football League season.
As per the league’s announcement, the Roughnecks will host their home games at Rice Stadium.
“Rice Stadium will be a fantastic home for our Roughnecks, and we’re excited to deliver an outstanding football experience for our fans that truly embodies H-Town,” remarked Russ Brandon, president and CEO of the UFL.
Last season, Houston played their home games at TDECU Stadium at the University of Houston, which is currently undergoing significant renovations.
The Roughnecks recently appointed CJ Johnson as their new head coach.
According to the team’s post on X (formerly Twitter), the 2024 season schedule will be unveiled on Monday, Feb. 5.
