Over the past few years, Harry has been involved in several court proceedings, including his lawsuit against “The Sun” newspaper for invading his privacy. Following his departure as a working royal, he also contested the U.K. Home Office’s decision to reduce his security arrangements.
He reached a settlement in the case against “The Sun,” with Rupert Murdoch agreeing to pay the Prince a significant sum in damages. However, Harry’s appeal to the High Court against the Home Office was unsuccessful, with the judge ruling in favor of the government department.
After losing the appeal, he spoke with the BBC in an interview, claiming that the judgment was an “establishment stitch-up” and also revealing that his father, King Charles, “won’t speak” to him due to the security dispute.
Now, a source close to the situation suggests that these legal issues have taken a toll on the Prince.
As reported by the Express, the source stated, “It’s taken its toll. He sees things everywhere, he picks battles with everybody, and that’s tiring. You can’t live in permanent battle mode. You’re a 40-year-old man. You’ve got to stop fighting the world.”
During the interview, Harry also expressed that he is uncertain about “how long my father has” and that he would “love reconciliation with my family, there’s no point in continuing to fight anymore.”
He further commented, “Life is precious, I don’t know how much longer my father has, he won’t speak to me because of this security stuff.”
